Schlüpfen Sie in ihre beste Sonntagsgarderobe, greifen Sie zu Stock und Hut und Sonnenschirm, und schließen Sie sich uns an, um gemeinsam die Kunst der Flânerie zu feiern! Die Frage nach dem
gewünschten Kleidungsstil beantwortet am besten unser Titelbild vom letzten Jahr: klassische stilvolle Sonntagsgarderobe angelehnt an die Mode der ersten Hälfte des letzten Jahrhunderts.
Simultan zu unseren britischen Freunden, die am selbigen Tage den 4. GRAND FLANEUR WALK in London zelebrieren, fällt der Startschuss in Düsseldorf um 13 Uhr Mitteleuropäischer Zeit. In diesem
Jahr verlassen wir den geschäftigen Stadtkern und treffen uns an einem der schönsten Orte, welche die Landeshauptstadt zu bieten hat: dem Schloss Benrath (https://www.schloss-benrath.de)! Ein
Spaziergang durch den über 60 Hektar großen alleen- und wasserreichen Schlosspark gehört zweifellos zu den schönsten Vergnügungen an einem Sonntagnachmittag. Sollte uns das Wetter
(ausnahmsweise!) nicht hold sein, so bieten sich eine Besichtigung des Schlosses oder des Museums für Europäische Gartenkunst an. Zu allem Überfluss liegt unser Startpunkt nur 10 Minuten Fußweg
vom Regionalbahnhof Düsseldorf-Benrath entfernt!
Damit das leibliche Wohl nicht "auf der Strecke" bleibt, können wir bereits ab 10 Uhr im Schloss-Café zusammen frühstücken. Nehmt doch bitte die Reservierung im Café selbst vor
unter 0211/26179248. Stichwort: FLANEUR WALK.
Auch für die Stärkung zwischendurch haben wir eine Location im Auge, für die wir dann - je nach Größe der Gruppe - entsprechende Plätze vormerken werden. Es sei denn, die Sonne strahlt so warm
und fürstlich, dass wir alle uns für ein Picknick auf den reichlich vorhandenen Wiesen entscheiden - aber das planen wir natürlich nur kurzfristig!

Slip into your best Sunday wardrobe, grab your cane and hat and parasol, and join us to celebrate the art of flânerie together! Our cover picture from last year is the best answer to the question of the desired style of dress: classic, stylish Sunday wear based on the fashion of the first half of the last century.
Simultaneously to our British friends, who are celebrating the 4th GRAND FLANEUR WALK in London on the same day, the starting signal in Düsseldorf will be given at 1 pm Central European Time. This year, we will leave the busy city center and meet at one of the most beautiful places the federal state capital has to offer: Benrath Palace (https://www.schloss-benrath.de)! A stroll through the castle park, which is over 60 hectares in size and full of avenues and waters, is undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable things to do on a Sunday afternoon. Should the weather (exceptionally!) not be kind to us, we can visit the castle or the Museum of European Garden Art. To top it all off, our starting point is only a 10-minute walk from the Düsseldorf-Benrath regional train station!
So that our physical well-being doesn't fall by the wayside, we can have breakfast together in the Schloss-Café from 10 am. Please make your own reservation at the café by calling 0211/26179248. Keyword: FLANEUR WALK.
We also have a location in mind for refreshments in between, for which we will then - depending on the size of the group - reserve appropriate places. Unless, of course, the sun is so warm and glorious that we all decide to have a picnic on the abundant meadows - but of course we're only planning that at short notice!
